Yes Man

What if you had to say "yes" to everything you were asked? Sounds so familiar. Starring Jim Carrey? Yeah, I think I saw that a decade ago. Learning lessons? Sure.

It's easy to say that Jim Carrey is rehashing old premises with Yes Man. But in the Jim Carrey cannon, I'd rank Liar Liar near the top, so why not go for it. The execution is pretty much the same. Jim is a downer and just wants to be left alone. Some dude he used to know gets him to come to a seminar. Instead of magical wish to not lie, he just decides to only say yes. He gets addicted and likes how things turn out, so he goes with it.

There are quite a few laughs throughout. Deschanel makes up for the damage she did in The Happening. It also has a supporting cast of Bradley Cooper and Danny Masterson (from That 70's Show).

Did you enjoy it?
Yes.

Would you see it in theaters again?
Yes. (No, really)

Would you rent it?
Yes. (No, really)

Would you buy it?
Yes. (No, really)

Would you watch it if you saw it was on TV?
Yes.
