Coraline 3D

I'm in love with Coraline. That line is sung by They Might Be Giants (well, actually her dad in the movie). It really sums it up. This is a stop motion family tale about a girl getting lost in another world. She finds a door to the "Other" world. In that world everyone is the same but different. She has an other mother / father. When she notices the little differences it goes from pleasant to scary.

This is one of those stories that doesn't pander to kids. It is scary, its emotional. I would say its in line with Dark Crystal and The Secret of Nimh. You might worry about taking young young kids, but they wouldn't wear the 3D glasses anyway. That's another thing. Its done with puppets and its 3D. Its like watching a marionette show live and in person.
